Got Meat?

by Tom on Feb.17, 2009, under Blog

If you find yourself struck with the urge to devour endless amount of top-quality meat, then I suggest you head over to Fogo de Chão. Kinda pricey up-front, but you seriously get what you pay for. Flip your marker over to the green side, and you’ll have no shortage of servers coming around to your table with 16 various cuts of primo meat for you to savour.

February = Month of babies.

by Tom on Feb.06, 2009, under Uncategorized

Today is my first real “Friday” in a couple weeks. We’ve been working 6-day weeks for a little while now because apparently we’ve fallen a little behind in our shooting schedule, and the studio wants to maintain our mid-March wrap date. I am definitely looking forward to sleeping and doing as little as possible this weekend. I also hear that we’ve got 2 more 6-day weeks before the hiatus.

Yesterday was Bobby’s B-Day, and although he was scheduled to come in and work with us, we still managed to get a few peeps together for ramen afterwards - tasty. Tonight a group of people will head to Largo to see Jon Brion in celebration of said Birthday. If we wrap here on “Brothers & Sisters” at a decent hour tonight, I’ll try to make it there myself. And speaking of birthdays, there are quite a few of them this month. Lily’s is coming up within a week, and mine will be following shortly - still don’t have any plans. Tina’s hits the day after mine, and If I recall correctly, Mickey’s birthday also lands before the end of the month.

I’d also like to plug my new favorite website, which is sure to become an internet phenomenon within a couple months. So get on board early before the bandwagon fills up.

Went to a bar at lunch. Too expensive. Left.

iPhone Test

by Tom on Jan.20, 2009, under iPhone Posts

Testing out the functionality of posting via the Wordpress iPhone app. I am curious to see how the attached picture will be displayed, as well as what posting options I have. Okay, now I suppose I should head back to work.

It Has Begun

by Tom on Jan.17, 2009, under Blog

I finally pulled the trigger. I wiped out my old site entirely, and am beginning to build my new one from the ground up. My first goal is to focus on functionality. I want things to work, and to worth smoothly. I am currently in the process of testing out some gallery options, trying to see which one is the easiest to use while still providing me with all the options I want. Once I’ve laid the groundwork, I’ll go back and work on the design of the site. Lots of work to be done ahead, but I finally feel like I’m headed in the right direction.
